A New Path: About Us

Our company was founded on the principle that when a clinical program ends, a lifelong journey begins. For many individuals, however, the first year after treatment can be challenging. Alcohol and drug addiction is a chronic relapsing disorder, with relapse rates ranging from 40 to 60 percent, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). While multiple studies have shown that ongoing care during this period can be critical to preventing relapse and promoting abstinence, most continuing care programs today only provide limited services.

A New Path goes beyond these programs to provide the support, structure, and setting individuals need to get back on their feet. Our Life Skills Program, which is tailored to meet clients' specific needs, enables each individual to create a roadmap for the next phase of his or her life. Our Documentation Program, which is designed to keep clients engaged, provides individuals with the accountability they need to succeed in their life of recovery.
